Default intake and exhuast comb.

well i found a combo:

1. AEM V1 intake
2. Skunk2 exhuast

i was wondering if the two would work for power...?

any thoughts?

You're looking at 5 horsepower maximum.

lol, no, 5 hp wouldn't make any difference.

If you're looking to drag, spend the money on a Comptech reinforced differential and a new clutch kit that has a stronger pressure plate. This is all you'll need to turn out some high 13 sec. passes.

If your looking for power gains/more quickness, go another route. Bolt-ons like an exhaust and intake are good for more aggressive sounds, not much else it seems.

If you want bolt ons that provide gains for better driving around town, there are plenty. But adding intake and another dual exhaust isn't going to net you anything. The three biggest for the least amount of money are T1R 70mm single exhaust, rick's header, and VAFC+tuning. This will net you over 20 hp at the wheels for just under 2000 dollars. You could get the same effect from adding 4.56 gears for 1100 dollars. Or you could just spend 3 thousand on a used vortech supercharger and install it yourself.

Then again, if you want to drag, you need to fix the 'weak' points that make people say this isn't a drag car: the clutch and the rear dif.
