Interest in powder coating valve and spark plug covers?
I picked them up this morning and they're gorgeous. I'll try to take some photos and post them this afternoon.
It looks like the price will be about $200 - 215 with the core exchange, plus shipping. I'm trying to finalize this with the powder coater.

They can do wheels. In fact, they had some on the floor ready to be done, as well as a motorcycle frame.
I'll PM you the contact information as soon as I confirm that they want to do this.

Rick... I knew you were unhappy about the color scheme when we met in Philly but I didn't think you'd be able to turn it around THIS fast. They look terrific!!!! I'll probably get them from you after I install MY AEM.

I was just very lucky to find a powder coater who was fast, good, and reliable. They're a production line, huge facility, so they love the idea of doing these high-quality, custom jobs, believe it or not.
Just a side note. You can get surprisingly good powder coating results using the roughly 150 dollar Eastwood kit. Once you are set up, doing small parts costs just a few bux a piece. It's easiest to do with a free or $20 dollar electric wall oven or stove with oven in your garage. I've even done very small parts in an old toaster oven. You need good ventilation. They are basically given away when folks remodel, but you need a 30 amp circuit such as for a clothes dryer. Fifteen minutes @ 400 degrees F.. You can also do large and small parts a section at a time with a heat lamp. A number of shops around here do small custom jobs with that kit. Plenty of colors are available, and you can even get some unusual effects if you experiment a bit. Solid colors, candies, "chromes", anything from dull to mirror finish, etc, etc. My brake calipers were PC'd a couple years ago with the kit and they still look great. The only thing I noticed is that you need to wipe up brake fluid within a few minutes, else you may get a discoloration. And you need to use high quality brake dust spray and not the cheap super caustic stuff as that can dull the finish. Of course that is good advice in any case as most wheels are powder coated these days.
