Default Interest in Team Voodoo titanium shift knobs

Update: To accommodate interest, we've expanded the production run to 30 knobs, and we'll take orders until we have 30. I'll post here as soon as we reach that number.

Last year, because the cost of the metal had gone so far out of sight, we eliminated titanium knobs from our Team Voodoo shift knob line up. Since then, we've received many inquiries about the availability of titanium Team Voodoo knobs. Our standard reply was "Would you be willing to spend $250 on a shift knob?", because that's what they would have cost.

Today we learned that Team Voodoo will be able to supply titanium knobs that will enable us to sell them for $160, provided we order a minimum of 20. So we're thinking about a group buy of some kind. I've posted this message to get a preliminary gauge of interest.

If we have enough interest, we'll launch a GB on our web site. But if you order, you'd have to pay the full amount upfront, with a 3-4 week wait for delivery.

If you're seriously interested and quite sure you'd buy at that price and on those conditions, post an affirmation in this thread.

Are you able to do custom engraving on the titanium knobs?

If you start getting close to the 20 people you would need, I'd be interested perhaps. I went with the T1R to replace my voodoo because I hated the feel of aluminum... I'd love to go back to a larger, heavier Voodoo Ti knob.

This is a cool idea Rick. I went with spun aluminum because IMO it matches the AP2 console and radio door the best, but the titanium is gorgeous
