An interesting 370Z Post
I come across this 370Z post dated early 2009. The OP asked for opinion from someone who came from S2K. There was a reply saying that the S2K is outdated compared to 370Z.
Fast forward to today, I wonder if there is anyone here who moves from 370Z back to S2K or picks a S2K over a 370Z.

In the 90s, I started with Honda; then later worked on my own Nissan and Toyota cars/engines/heads. Nissan and Toyota engines/heads look and feel very outdated and clunky (reminded me of an American engine). Honda heads are like a precision watch.

That said, the 350z/370z is basically a refined S chassis.

I had a G35. Wife currently has the crossover version, the EX35. My experience is similar to the commenters in the post. The Nissan is lot bigger and has a more luxurious ride. The V6 is nice and I like the power delivery. That V6 in an S2000 would be an interesting car. I suspect an LS is too powerful but 330 hp without too much torque would be interesting but I digress.
It comes down to preference. I like the handling and frantic nature of the S2000. If I had a long highway commute that might sway me to the Z. For everything else, the Honda.
The Z is a cool car, maybe closer to a GT than a pure sports car. I’d suggest to find a nice one and test it. Pretty affordable too.
