LOOK where is located the air filter of this F20C swaped on a Civic

Does this method improve the air flow = +HP???

I would think that , if anything, putting the air filter there would hurt HP. The engine compartment is hot which means the air is thinner than if it were colder. That's the main reason Cold Air Intakes try to move the spot where air enters the intake system out of the engine compartment.

Throttle response is probably improved, as well as high RPM flow, but I'd be willing to bet he lost some low-end torque. Intakes a usually tuned specifically for each engine. That setup must be hella loud.

I remember seeing in one of the car mags they dyno tested a car with the stock intake, aftermarket and no intake at all. No intake at all made the most HP, but is dangerous cause of no filter.

Like a ITB setup, but problably you would not hear it becasue the exhaust. I do not hear the SC above 4000 RPM
