So today was quite interesting, I walk out of a store and I see a stranger in his 40's 50's walking circles around my car, then all of the sudden he starts checking my plates out and registration, Im walking and thinking what the hell is going on, is there something wrong. As i got closer the person began to walk away but i was curious so I went up to him and asked if there's something I could help him with... It turned out that he loves the s2k even though he never owned one, he told me the story how it was when they just came out, a convertible honda... and costing over 30k. Anyways had a good convo and i felt pretty good that when i first started talking to him he said nice S2000 and didn't mistake it for a Miata. Speaking about the Miata... I was on my way home and I saw a MX-5 driving the opposite way, the guy in it started waving too me... facepalm

 

My guess is he appreciated seeing another convertible on the road and by chance likes your car. Why would you assume the driver is a moron and is incapable of differentiating his car from another?

Been getting used to the hand wave or nods of approval from other s2k owners, driving just the other day and have a wave to another man wid good taste and he blanked me, that wave went to a scratch of the head lol
