Even people who aren't into cars can learn from this video: Don't wear white sock with black shoes.

"Ooh, the way the rear is sliding... That's what rear wheel drive is all about!"

Love this guy. Nice post, Red. Yeah, it's a repost, but definitely a goodie!

We're always trying to explain these things to people, but we never think to post a link to a relevant video. It's a repost, but it's something I think we might want to reference more often. One picture (or video) is worth a thousand words.

Sodaking663rd, I couldn't remember who originally posted this, but it's a nice find.

Yea, Chazmo, it's a repost that I stumbled across while cleaning out my favorites; I'm probably going to be posting the link again when it will help explain some technique. It's such a good video that I don't think it'll get old anytime soon.

"I wanted a little more precision, and more response from the steering, but it *is* still a prototype."

I think he got his additional precision and response, and I think it turned out to be a little too much for too many owners.

Gan-san(Kurosawa, Motoharu) was a former Nissan works racing driver around 60-70's.
He is a famous auto journalist in Japan now.
His driving is still fascinating... (age 66)

When I got back into autocrossing a few years ago, at age 55, I thought it was going to be a lot tougher than when I was younger; My eyes aren't what they use to be, and as a result my depth perception suffers; But to my surprise, if anything, I'm actually faster now then I was twenty years ago. When it comes to racing, age doesn't seem to matter as much as experience.
