Bumping this up. Came across this camera at a NY tech event: http://www.vholdr.com/

Full 1080p HD version for I think $300. Not sure about all the different mounts that are available, I think it comes with 2 then you can buy extra mounts for car, etc.

Want..

Hi All,

Here is my current setup. GoPro camera with the Modifry mount.

I don't have any issue with shaking and the mount seems to work well.

I'm totally getting that for next season. GoPro has a 1080p camera coming out as well, but I've come to really hate their mounts.

I'm considering getting an interior cam mount if/when I get my next S2000, but I need a new cam first

Hey all!

Maybe someone can help me out. I have a question about the Modfry camera mount and the cameras used in some of the video's in this post. They all look very clear compared to mine.

I have a Panasonic SDR-S26... Specs here: http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electro...5702#tabsection
on this mount and the video is so shaky you can barley make out what type of car you are following. Is there something wrong with this camera or is it just a POS?

I even sandwiched a folded up paper towel under the console lid that it is attached to and it helped, but not much.

Any thoughts / suggestions?

Thanks, Brian

Not sure what suspension you're using, but I'm running stock shocks with Tein s-techs so my rides is pretty soft.

What is the frame rate required for a good driving clip. I tried it with my P&S that does 30 fps but the movie looks bit intermittent and does not convey the speed well. I see the same thing here in some clips in this thread which were done with P&S cameras. I guess it is a frame rate issue.
