Interior Dome light fuse.
I pulled some wiring in my S that was meant for a hard wiring a radar detector. After I pulled it out my radio and some light stopped working. I found a "10" fuse on the floor of the interior that must of popped out when I pulled the wiring, and plugged it back in. The radio now works again, but the dome light still won't come on? Though it does come on when I open my car door? Any suggestions?
Wow... your situation sound similar to mines. Except with my dome light it flickers like a strobe light. Whenever I open the door it stays constant and it's fine but when I close the door and turn it on it feels like i'm at a club. This is after hardwiring my v1 too. I mean I didn't disconnect or pull any kind of fuse out. Who knows...
slide the switch on the dome light?
maybe oxidation on the copper of the dome light contacts, slide the switch back and forth ten times quickly and then see if it works, if it does then take the assembly apart and clean it thoroughly.

From the research I've done it looks like the dome light and head unit are under the same fuse. That's why I'm surprised it won't work after I found the fuse on the floor and plugged it back in. I never had any issues like this before I yanked the wiring
. Just glad to have some music back at this point though
