Hi,

I currently have an Audi TT, but am considering switching to an S2000. However, I have a number of questions regarding the interior of the S2000:

1. My TT has a Bose stereo. Am I correct in thinking the S2000 also has a Bose stereo?
2. My TT has heated seats. Does the S2000?
3. My TT has cruise control. Does the S2000?
4. My TT has climate control. Does the S2000?


I drove an S2000 just over a year ago & loved it. However, I decided not to but it because the roof whistled at motorway speeds. Is this normal? I do a lot of miles, many of them motorway based. Is the S2000 ok for this kind of task?

If you're looking for luxuries, stick with your Audi. The s2000 was developed more as a back-to-basics roadster for the pure driving enthusiast. The sound system is pure Honda, nothing spectacular. It is better now with the new addition of tweeters, and simple mods are available from others here, like rear mounted speakers. No heated seats on the S2000. It has cruise control. Climate control is NOT automatic. It is controlled by toggles and knobs right at your right-hand fingertips. Lots of people use their cars daily. I think it takes more effort to drive an S2000 daily, with the high rpms and such, but it is WELL worth it.

Something I forgot:

The TT has a trip computer with stats such as mpg, fuel range etc. Does the S2000?


I am still sorely tempted with the S2000, but worry about comfort compromises...

 

S2000 doesn't have trip computer.

maybe you should consider the new Audi TT V6.

 

no advanced trip options as in your TT.

Oh yes . I will definitely be getting one of those, but they arent out for many months yet, & I am thinking of changing for the summer. I dont normally keep cars for more than a year (although I have had my TT for 14months now because it seems so complete), but I do lots of miles.
