I am mounting my V1 remote & I want to make sure it is secure but & will need to remove it from time to time so I decided to use a very short screw to mount it. The location is directly below the heater controls. Without removing steering wheel/ dash, is there enough room to drop an 8mm screw up between the temp knob & fan speed switch without causing chaos? The dash padding seems thick so I figured 8mm would do. I could take everything out but to be sure but I know you guys have had your dashes out a bagillion times & may know or have heater controls laying around to tell me what I
