Default investigating the S2k

HI Guys,
Just kind of looking around. Looking for a new convertible, last car was an elise which was a superb car, alas I sold it.

Was looking at Solstice which is a nice looking car, but a bit big and slow I think. I've checked online, it seems new S2ks can be had from dealers in the 28-30k range, is this true? What kind of options would the car have at that range.

I won't bore you guys with questions of what I should look out for, I'll do a search on the site first,
Cheers
Chris

29 to 30k for an 05 if you want new. There are a few options but not many.
Headrest speakers, alarm, cd changer. front lip, spoiler...ect. But what i want to know is why you got rid of the elise ????

Edit...29 TO 30K if you can find a dealer to do it....most will cut a deal this time of year

What parts about the elise did you NOT like? Make sure the S2000 addresses these issues before you spend your money.

Thanks for the tips guys, firstly. Selling the elise was a bonehead move on my part, I waited over 2.5 years to get it and in a weak moment I sold it! Stupid move. But I got my elise at the original list price and their've been a couple price increases, can't really afford new now, as optioned the way I like would be around $46,000 plus tax. Have a had a number of neat cars over the years, but the elise was head and shoulders above them all.

It just seems in looking at the S2k to be a lot of car for the money!

Thanks
Chris
