I installed the Invidia Dual with the matching TP recently and I don't mind the loudness at all... She screams when I want her to. Your throttle control is key here pretty much, driving 120km/hr on the highway and you don't hear it at all! There is a certain range in each gear that can maintain a nice crisp sound; but this depends on your ability to maintain the throttle there.

Heel-toeing down a few gears sounds amazing and precise.

The drone is heavily reduced when paired with a test pipe. I will have to put the stock exhaust back on sometime during the winter as well... damned emissions testing.

dk!

i just bought a invidia exhaust. I guess i didnt beleive people when they said how loud it is. It isnt THAT loud outside the car however, Its crazy inside though. almost unbearable on the inside of the car. If you let someone drive your car with the exhaust and you listen from the outside, odds are you will put up with the drone because the exhaust sounds so good.

i love my invidia even tho the ability of having a conversation is greatly reduced. i remember having a drive that was about 45 min away and the misses wasnt to thrilled about the uncorked exhaust but somehow she was able to sleep a little on the way back

I don't know what version of the Invidia some of you guys have but I promise that with the V3 you will not suffer from no conversations with passengers or be annoyed by any sound whatsoever when feathering the throttle above third or fourth gear.
I'm still trying to grasp the exact meaning of the word "drone".
There are enough refferences to drone that I'm convinced that it really does exist but my question is "does it exist with the V3?"
My interpertation of drone would be an annoying "hum" while cruising which is absolutly not the case.
At highway speeds you'll have to make a conscious effort to even hear the V3 and when you do this, 'the sound is very very muffled and very pleasent.
MY last question- Do any other owners agree with my assessment of the sound with this muffler?
If not, I must have a very rare Invidia.
BTW ,I'm running without silencers and with the stock cat.
