Default The Invidia....

I've seen a few pictures of the invidia via search... they look like the tips are really close to the bumper...I read a few posts about longer hangers... anyone know if the current exhaust are lower from the bumper?

thanks,
-S

There's a pretty good thread regarding the burning/melting issue.

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...50&pagenumber=1

If you scroll down, both misternapps and The Reverend have some good comments on this... I don't know if there is a definitive answer on this issue though.

Thanks, I've seen that post. That's what got me thinking... I'd like to get an exhaust, but I do'nt want to risk the burning bumper...

I think the Invidia comes with longer hangers, if not just go down to the Auto parts store and pick up a few. I have seen a few folks with them, and theirs look and fit great.

joe_s2k- Burned Bumper
SpeedxxRacer- Burned Bumper
Fly_s2k- Burned Bumper.

Longer hangars just make the exhaust sway more resulting in a different area getting burned.

I think you get the idea.

Fly,

That's because I've used 2 lengths of hangars causing more 'burnage' than you. And you don't drive fast enough to make the exhaust sway.

Joe,

Did you stick with the single hanger on each muffler? Or did you get both welded in there?

thanks,

Only stuck with the single. I'm not going to pay someone to weld another one on since my bumper is already melted. It's too late now.
