<---- No Melting

 

I melted my rear a little on one side but it was my fault for using the OEM rubber thingies for the first day. Since changing to the slightly longer Invidia rubber thingies I haven't had any problems.

 

Are the invidia rubber hangers stiffer than the stock ones?

This is making me consider the Spungen...

 

Both are great setups. I don't think my bumper is burned (i have spugen, titanium setup though). You can't go wrong with either set.

 

Since I sell a lot of Invidias here on the board. Just want to make a comment. There has been issues in the past regarding melting. Where the muffler sits close to the black plastic piece on one side. We have seen a couple of incident where melting have occured. But now all of Invidias are shipped with extra hangar and they are very strong. We sell almost every exhaust available for this car. From Apexi N1, WS, Blitz Realiz, HKS Hiper, Tanabe to Invidia. And we truely believe Invidia is one of the best bang for the buck. From it's Tig welded Polished Stainless steel finish to it's dyno proven performance. Everyone with this exhaust have noticebly made power gain on dyno. Also the system come complete with silencers. Which give you the options of long road trip or tracking racing.
