Default Invidia Exhaust with Only One Silencer!

Ok, the Invidia exhaust is loud, no doubt. Sounds awesome, but it can seriously start hurting your ears. But, with both of the silencers in, it sounds really unimpressive. So, I've been driving with only one silencer for the last two months or so. Its like a great compromise. It isn't at full loudness, but has enough to make me smile whenever I'm rollin' through town. But, does anyone know if having a silencer only one one tip can cause any kind of backpressure induced engine problems? Could I cause any damage to my engine, but having this lack of balance in the air going out the back of my car?

Since it is a single pipe that comes back all the way to the rear axle there isn't any problem that could result that I could imagine. You could go as far as completely closing one pipe off and not have any adverse effects, maybe lose a couple hp at peak but thats about it.

Well if he completely closed one off he'd have to do so where the single pipe breaks into 2. I can't imagine what the result would be if one side was sealed off at the tip.. allowing the air to travel from the separation point to the closed tip.... but I can't see it being a positive result
