Default Invidia Exhaust Pass Smog?

Hey I was about to get the new Invidia exhaust, but the site said it may not pass smog. I live in CA where the smog laws are tough as hell and I dun wanna waste 600 bucks...Can someone with this exhaust give me some info? Thanks!

Also, will a catback exhaust void my ext. warranty?
Thanks guyz, the site is great.

I believe if your car is to be inspected my a referee you'll fail just by the looks of anything modified. But I know a couple of places that don't care for how your car looks but rather the cleanliness of the modifications. I herd that as long as the exhaust is a cat-back you'll pass. But hey worse case scenerio you can always throw the stock one back on.

You shouldn't have any problem passing the emissions test with a catback system. As long as your catalytic convertor is still in place, no prob.

The noise is a different issue. Now I don't live in CA, but if a noise test is part of the overall smog test, then the Invidia will fail the 95dB limit, unless you use the silencers.

The emissions is done in the cat, the exhaust is just for sound basically.

I thought a lot of guys just did the test stock then changed the exhaust, might as well!
