Okay, so I've been thinkiing about the Invidia, but also had a Dunk on a 98 prelude that just deafened the cabin. I had a Helmholtz cut and welded in the stock location with the same dimensions, and it helped a bit.

I'm interested in your final dimensions and location selection. Please let me know either by PM or out loud for the others after you try this out!

Last weekend I removed the resonator from my Invidia and swapped into place the stock resonator. The result=== much less droning. The car still sounds loud as hell, but the noise seems to be more to the rear of the car now, rather than in the cabin. All in all I am very pleased with the results. Pm me if you want any further info..
I brought my stock resonator to the muffler shop and had my car on the lift. It looked like it would be impossible to fit the stock resonator (which is a bit bigger in diameter) on the invidia. There's some kind of bar that would be in the way. How did your muffler guy do it? Anybody else tried adding the hemholtz pipe on the invidia?
