Drone? This word is way over used when reffering to Invidia. I prefer to call it Negative Throttle Wind Down or NTWD for short.
If you ask me, NTWD is very pleasent even in stock form.

going out or going up the engine? i don't know.
Do you realize how much pressure there is coming out of the engine? There is no way the heat would go back in the engine.

The heatwrap layer is copper colored.
The spectum fiirewall is a hi-temp quietcoat-type liquid soundproofing coating that I added a blue tint to.
The Damplifier Pro is a high temp dynomat type soundproofing foil-lined mat.
I spray painted the final product with hi temp black paint.

Take your invidia to a track...20 min of constant vtec will blue up the tip nicely. Put a silencer in to cut the flow of the driver side to force the flow to the passenger side to even out the look.

before
raw unmodified Invidia catback weighed in at 29 lbs.

after
Multiwrapped Invidia catback weighed 39 lbs. (Added about 1 lb per foot of pipe)

In a magnaflow thread that preceeded this writeup, the stock mufflers were 20lbs each and the resonator was 15 lbs...so stock catback comes to about 65 lbs.
