Irridium Plugs?

Has anyone looked into these? Maybe a GB is in order? Here is a quote from another list I am on...
On one of the monster Civics, they got ~20hp to the wheels. The baseline
run was done with brand new NGK plugs. This is on a car that is already
making over 500hp to the wheels. Civics making 98hp to the wheels are
gaining between 3 - 4 hp. It looks like the gains are mainly on the top
end.
