I know from a straight line the S2K will take an IS300 anyday. How about handling?

There would be no comparison. The S2K would be superior in acceleration, lateral g's, and braking, and would have the additional advantage of a lower center of gravity. It would eat the Lexus alive on the track.

And don't get me started on the IS300's automatic transmission. Fortunately Lexus is addressing that next year, but the car should have had a manual in the first place.

 

Try using the search function -- FIRST.

 

I am not a big fan of the IS300. I find it inferior.

 

Let's go driving and look for one, looks like an easy kill. Maybe the IS300 will put up a fight. LOL

I have an IS300 for a daily driver. The handling is good for a sedan; however, it's nowhere close to the S2000.

 

Not many stock sport car can out handle the S2000.

 

Go to IS300.net and do a search -- probably don't even have to do that -- they seem to discuss this exact topic once every couple of days. I am still baffled as to why this comparison continues...

Over on the IS300.net board, many will give all the attributes that make the IS a better car -- "more luxurious"; "more practical"; "four-doors"; blah, blah, blah -- every attribute WHY I bought a S2000.

Put this comparison in the garbage where it belongs -- not even in the same league...
