why do u need to pay intstallation for the hardtop, if it is removable???

 

Somone correct me if I'm wrong...

To wire in the defroster switch and to change the front latches if I'm not mistaken.

 

I'm not sure what the deal is for 2002, but for 00-01 along with the defroster switch, there is a lot of mounting hardware required to match up with the latches on the hardtop. www.handaaccessories.com has the instructions for adding the hardware. It looks like you need to remove most of the interior panels to add the hardware.
