You can find an EMS for 1000 used though. You're looking at around 4000 total.

Sometimes I think it'd be cool if I went with ITB's instead of turbo as I had over 200 pounds shaved, 4.77s, J's header, and T1R 70mm single exhaust. I'd have one sick ride that would be wasting supercharged S2000s!!

I would like to see what a stroker kit coupled with ITB's would yield power-wise.

AEM EMS 1052U $1625 shipped
Jenvey 50mm ITB's w/ 440 cc/min injectors $1510 shipped (ebay)
Real cost of Jenvey ITB's $2399
real cost of 440cc/min injectors $300
Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator real cost $170 ( I got it much cheaper through a friend)
Fuel line fittings, steel braided hose, fuel gauge, etc. $200
Intall and tune ranges greatly depending on shop used. I went to 2nrwerks. If you're interested, you'll have to PM them, as I can't tell you their prices.

You need to tune them on a dyno, and street tune the part throttle settings. Unless you know your AEM EMS like the back of your hand and are thoroughly trained in EFI, I strongly suggest you do not attempt to tune ITB's by yourself.
i would love to go a shop to do it....but what sucks is...im in Minnesota, there is not a lot of shops that would do this around here

I wouldn't bet on that. You would have a nice car, but I am not so sure you "would be wasting supercharged S2000s!! "

200 lbs shaved, with gears, header, 70mm single exhaust, and ITB's, you're looking at a 12.5 - 12.9 car. Most CTSC'd cars run 13.0 - 13.3 in the 1320...

Don't underestimate ITB's...the midrange punch is awe inspiring. We dialed my VTEC all the way down to 4800 rpm...I make good power WAAAAY before any SC'd car does.

wildcardtrd,
your engine bay looks awesome
The incredible sound of that...beast makes you feel like a Nascar driver!
Are you considering getting some colder (ambient) air, into itbs? Colder air = more power
Maybe from a different hood or a custom made intake leading to itbs
Great job though

I have made hood vents that sit about 5" away from the air horns of ITB's...they get PLENTY of nice, cold, fresh air. I've been monitoring my IAT's thru the AEM, and even sitting in traffic, they haven't gone above 15 degrees above ambient yet, and as far as an engine is concerned, that's nice and cold. Highway driving, my IAT's are right at ambient, and city driving, they never get above 10 degrees above ambient.

wildcard, you have one hell of a respectable machine. I cannot watch the video at work, but look forward to getting home to see it. Nice work.

Curious, why did you need larger injectors and an Adj. FPR?
