Default It's back after encounter with center divider

Got the S2k back Wednesday after a three week stay in Concord (CA) Honda's intensive care.

It wasn't too bad as I just buckled the right rear suspension, broke the wheel, rotor and wiped out the tire. That, and took a chunk out of the front spoiler, but no body damage!

I left on a green light, turned left grabbed second gear and around I went. I landed on the center divider with everything but the left rear tire, which was still on the street. I was on the way to work at around 5:30am and the road was a little damp and I was real STUPID!

Anyway, for my $500 deduct able I've got new right rear suspension, new rear subframe, new rear tires (CC Honda would not change just one) and a new front spoiler.

I'm real happy with their work and attention to detail. The had to fight the insurance adjuster, but insisted on replacing everything related to the right rear suspension.

I've only got 13k miles on it, but it does feel a little stiff on the right rear going over major bumps. I assume it's due to the one new shock, or just my imagination.

All else feels fine and it tracks straight and true.

Hmmm? I guess one new shock could make the difference....maybe they had to reinforce the right rear to get everything back on??

Glad to see that you got the car back. I'd invest in a good driving school if I were you. Not only would you learn car control, but you'd have fun too.
