I decided to trade the 05 S2000 for an 05 Corvette that I was interested in. It has the 400 hp motor with 6 speed manual.

Do you think I will row up? I'm only 68 you know.

I don't hate anything. I do like Corvettes and Harleys. What about being 6'3" and 240 lbs. don't you understand. I simply got to the point is was difficult to get in and out of that little car.

I like Honda's. It was just time to move on. I replaced the S2000 with the Vette and the Honda motorcycles with a Kawasaki Nomad and a Buell Ulysses for a trip to Alaska next June with two of my son's.

My money (lots of it) my life. Many of the comments were just plain rude, disrespectful, immature, and personal attacks. Not the kind of trash that I associate with.

I pretty much agreed with you up until the point where you decided to sell your Honda bikes due to some idiots in an online forum. Not that it matters of course, but I'm sure you realize that wasn't the most mature post in the world.

I hope you enjoy your new purchases.

I'm wealthy and pay cash for everything including my house. Selling to a private buyer is time consuming and a hassle. Most S2000 buyers are young and need to finance.

Slow - fast are meaningless words. 1/4 miles times are specific. Tell me what the 1/4 time of the 100 hp 490 pound Ullysses is. Then give a comparison to other Adventure bikes.

Did you learn with the S2000 that I don't drive over the speed limit. In fact I drive 5 under the posted limit. Want to follow me?

No, I can't take it with me. That is why I am using up as much as I can before I go.

But, I'm like the energizer bunny, I just keep going and going. I'm up to 120 cars and motor cycles since 1962.

The 04 Rune had 1200 miles on it. It was to look at not ride. I did haul it to Deals Gap this year and slowly went through the twisties. On the Rune forum I was SLORNR. On the VTX1800 forum I was SLOVTX1800. I should have used SLOS2000 here.

I do use some things a lot. My 08 Hylander Limited has 27,000 in one years time.

Ted, just read all the posts and see if you can pick out some candidates for the honor.

They all get traded at 1 to 3 years anyway. I was just using the trades to achieve a certain point.

Can we close this thread already. This guy has said he's leaving but several days and posts later he still trying to justify to the internet his decision. Seems like he just wants to "win" the argument, while others are just providing their opinions. I did not see any posts that were overly rude or hateful, although there were some posts that might offend the overly sensitive.

Thread summary:

- I'm selling my S for a corvette. It has like no miles on it. I never took it to vtec and never had the top down
- sounds like you didn't really experience the car
- I collect cars
- oh, well it still doesn't sound like you really experienced the car. your loss
- but I'm old and I collect cars.
- yeah, we got that, we still think it's a waste
- I'm leaving and selling all my honda's
- see ya
- why are you so mean
- leave already
- but but but
- you're still here?

lmao

too funny, but to a point i must agree.

to each their own, and to the guy who "collects" which is a loose term as it seems he's more of a swapper than someone buys things and keeps them for long terms - good luck with the new toys.

oh- and get it right, he can experience the 400hp of his new vette as long as he keeps it in first gear.
