You're having so much fum with this, I don't think you want me to leave. Some keep posting questions.

What do you think a Chief's salary is? Rookie patrolmen in this area start out at over $40K a year. Area's like Chicago at $60K. In the suburban area's of Cook and border counties chief's are typically $100K to 150K per year.

Do I like to win? Gee who doesn't? Particularly when they are of German, Scotch Irish decent. I'll argue with a traffic sign.

But, all good things must come to an end. So my friends you win. Enjoy your little cars and drive safely.

Haha someone should inform him that the Buell will spend more time in the shop then on the road. I have never met a person who did'nt regret buying a Buell. That being said, I wonder why Buell switch to a different engine manufacturer? It cant be because Harley engine are too awesomenesser, could it?

If I can collect that much and enjoy them at 68 I'll be in heaven. For now, I'm happy with one S2000 that I kick over 6,000 rpm every chance I get! And, I still can't reject the hypothesis that Vettes are old men's cars because everyone I see that's new is driven by a geriatric fellow while most of the ones 5-10 years old are driven by hard working guys in their early 30s. I know this is stereotyping, but it's hard to deny.

I mean, that's fair, but, if you've hardly spent any, retired late, invested well... you've probably got a penny or two extra to throw around.

That being said... there is obviously a wealth-version of the Napoleonic complex being played out here.

i thought of an analogy for the op's situation.

say you have a hot wife (s2000.) you marry her, keep her around to look pretty and show off, but never f'k her. you also have a few hot mistresses (the other cars/bikes). you keep them around to look pretty, but you don't touch them either. you keep cycling them out, getting new ones... all pretty, all un-f'ked.

but you have this ugly old boring mistress too... (Hylander) which you f'k all the damn time.

then you go talking on the internet about how you just divorced your old wife and married a new one. you reveal that you only f'ked her once, the entire time you had her. we here on the internet do not understand.
