does anyone know where I can find this? I looked for it while in Tokyo a while ago, but had no luck. And in france noone has heard of such snow chains.

I just don't want to get stuck like last year, 1 day before heading to the Alps, in a tire shop asking about some plastic chains, looking like a lunatic, and ending up buying 2 snow tires (only) that just helped me during 5 hours when I had to drive through a 2500meters high pass...

I enquired about these before I bought the car. The dealer contacted Honda Canada and said that these "plastic chains" are not available and are not recommended and are not warranteed outside of Japan. Honda seems to not trust non-Japanese users to use them correctly.
