As reported earlier the 2002 S2000 will be made! I received my Honda Dealer Color and trim Guide for 2002 today and the 2002 is in there.

Now for the news part--- They are adding Suzuka Blue with Blue leather interior and deleteing the silverstone Silver and adding Sebring Silver Metallic.

There are other color changes to other lines as well but I didn't think anyone would care.

How does the Sebring Silver Metallic differ from the Silverstone Silver?

I hear the rear window will be glass, and I'm sure while they are at it they will fix the cheap carpet in the console too. They read these boards just like everyone else, and with the sales rate these things are going at, they will fix stuff. I think the reason why they put so little thought into things like this is because they really didn't know if Honda could sell a sports car under the Honda name, I think it was a test. After all, this is an Acura.

Oh, and they have to do something about the relatively bad reviews it keeps getting. These guys that do these test drives are such wusses... Gotta put some nicer stuff in there.

I am not sure -- the color square is really small.

"Any word on the rear window or the engine?"

Sorry no.

"Does Canada get the new colour too??"

The book doesn't say. I would say that you would yes but don't hold me to anything.

Is the blue leather standard with the blue, or can you get black?

Blue on blue huh? That might look really sharp. Didn't somebody write a song about that in the '50s?

BTW...A glass back window that fits in the current roof well would be about the size of a gun port on an armored car! Not likely that Honda would do anything to further hinder top up visibility. I'll just keep my big 'ole plastic one thank you.
