Sad story. I had to do that many years ago when I was in law school. Trust me, it all worked out for the best. Good luck, and see you again on the flip side of life.

Fast forward thirty years - you and your significant other have finally got the "kids" through school and you are at the top of your profession - no, wait, you own your own advertising firm. One day you show up at home with the newest, latest, greatest version of the Honda "S" and you wifey says "Thats so unlike you! You have always been so down to earth" You just smile remembering the fondly your old "S" as she hugs you, blows in your ear and and asks "Take me for a ride".

Thanks again guys. I appreciate the encouragement! It makes it easier knowing that others can appreciate my decision.

That's why I love this board.

Hey munckee,

I'm about halfway through grad school myself and will probably be selling my car soon to free up some cash as well. I'll probably just pick up a Civic instead. It's rather disturbing, but it's good to know that others have done the same, because hey, misery loves company. There will be plenty of time and money after school is over to buy nice cars, just need to have a little patience. Kudos on your decision and sale, and best of luck to you.
