Default J's 60 rs single

Anybody have a pic of the clearance between the resonator and the lower brace under it? I cant seem to get enough of a gap to keep it from rubbing and making noise.

Did you use the stock rubber hangers? I might have to find some shorter ones.

On our old AP2 we had to do two things to get the J's 60 to fit properly.

1. Make some spacers for the underbrace.
2. On the hanger on the B-pipe, we used a hose clamp to cinch down on the hanger, making it shorter & stiffer. Couldn't use a hanger that was too short because the B-pipe would have started to hit the body of the car. So the hose clamp trick effectively give us a "medium" length hanger.

On the AP1 you should have enough space under there to use a shorter hanger... if you can find one.

I have already shimmed the underbrace with 2 washers, I'll try the hoseclamp on the hanger, thanks.

is it a FX series exhaust? or old one? Ive had 2 different 70RRs as well as a 60RS on my AP2. No issues with either hitting anywhere. I used a more stiff hanger only at the very rear to replace the normal oem hanger

I had to use a shorter hanger and place washers between the frame and underbrace to keep my 70RS from hitting the underbrace or underbody. The exhaust is also really close to the drive shaft and has a small ding in it from being hit by it before I got the hanger/spacer stuff worked out.
