J's 70 RR :)
I have a 60rs and its pretty quiet for a single. I heard the 70rr is very loud. One becasue its header back and second because it has no resenator. If max performance is what you want then go for it. But if you want increase in performance without goin def, I would recommend the 60rs. I love the way mine sounds. Heres a sound clip:

I'm talking about the catback. Everyone said it was quiet, no drone. It was a bunch of
because the drone was absurd. You literally could not hear anything but drone in the 3k to 5k range which is the range I'm usually in when daily driving
I took it off within a week of putting it on. There were no exhaust leaks or anything like that. It was just LOUD. With the silencer on it was much better, but still too annoying for every day driving.

There is a difference between maximum useable power and the maximum hp number on the dyno. If you dyno your chosen set-up, can you get a number on the area under the curve? I could be wrong, but I have a strong feeling that a 70mm exhaust will not net more area under the dyno curve than a 63mm due to less exhaust velocity. Although, I do believe a 70mm will yield a higher number on the dyno due to higher flow capacity-and possibly be the best size for large throttle body and top-end oriented performance camshafts.
I could be completely wrong, though-not a mechanic. Just done an awful lot of reading lately.]
BTW, somebody should check out the BuddyClub Spec IV single or the 5zigen a-spec single. Both are quiet. 5zigen = 110 db at wot. BC= ???

What can you say about the noise level, drone, etc. when comparing to an invidia dual exhaust.
Has anyone owned both?
Im looking to get a single in the future for max gains but you all make it sound like the 70's rip the ear drum.
I have been using invidia for about a month now and I've pretty much have gotten used to the sound/drone. I daily drive my car and the it no longer bothers me.
TIA
