I searched the forums pretty thoroughly but didn't find the answers I was looking for. What I'd like to hear are the opinions of anyone with the J's Racing 70rr single exhaust as far as how it is for daily driving. I've already read about it being suggested for track use and not daily driving. As far as daily driving, is it obnoxiously loud when just driving normal (not speeding, accelerating hard), how loud is it at highway speeds, can you still hear the radio well without cranking it way up, etc. Thanks.

 

It is very loud. I dont recomend it for a daily driven car. Sounds bad ass when you wanna get on it etc. but when you dont want it loud, there is no break. Id suggest the J's Racing 70RS as a compromise.

 

Yea, that was my concern because the 70rr claims 129db at WOT. How much quieter is the 70rs, and is it possible to replace the cat with a test pipe?

 

129db... man that's way too much. I had a friend who's been hearing loud exhaust too much and his ears are really damaged. He often goes like "what?" whenever I speak to him. Sometimes I just feel like slapping him real hard.

 

any other opinions from anyone who has it and daily drives the car, I'd really like to ride in one with it before making any final decision but I don't know what the possibility of that is

You could get the rs and get a test pipe, but it would still be pretty loud. Not nearly as bad as the rr though.

 

 

Hi guys I too want to know how loud this thing is...

My homie brought me onto the J's racing stuff...soooooo I want the exhaust and header that will give me the most power ..crap if im paying 1400 i want the BEST..lol

I dont mind the super loudness but as long as Im getting the lightest and the most pwerful.

Is it the best ? Better then toda ?
