J's Racing ECU or painted CF Vented hood?

If you plan to keep your setup as it is, I/H/E combo, just make sure to inform J's Racing about your current setup and they will do the right mapping for you. You can also ask amuse_boy from UK forums to cross check what am saying. I would choose the ECU instead of the hood to complete your setup. You will be impressed with the gains/performance that you will get. CF hood can wait for now IMO.

Am surprised to hear that, because J's Racing has a price listed on a trade-in deal to do the mapping. In my case I will be sending my ECU to J's Racing and get it programmed for the N1 specs. In amuse_boy case he mentioned that they gave him the program/mapping/software. I dont remember exactly. I know that J's Racing has plenty of data input depending on specific application.

You can borrow an ECU from a friend who has replaced the stock ECU. I will do the same.
