I was on a plane flying back from Chicago and was reading a popular mechanics magazine (I believe the October or November issue). It had an article on the lastest car audio and I found what would be perfect for us S2K owners...JBL will soon be out with a 3" thick 12" sub. For all of us that wanted to really beef up our sound systems without giving up valuable trunk space, it looks like these might just be the solution. They are supposed to run 299 a piece and should be able to fit under/behind a seat or mount in the trunk but take up little room. Just thought I'd share the info....

Except you'll still need 1cubic foot of air space for it to work, so I don't think it will fit under the seat.

 

true...I think the behind the seat option would work for the shorter drivers...
