Default JDM 04 vs USDM 04

Hello.

Just looking for a quick answer. What are the differences between JDM 04 and USDM 04 (besides the 2.2L motor)? Where can I find a chart that lists the differences?

TIA!

Don't forget the optional Type R in Japan. It raises the hp to 300, the redline to 10,000, better brakes, 200 pounds lighter, better clutch and differential.

The JDM runs the 2L engine as stated, and also higher compression (I believe 11.7:1). I think it may have different wheels as well.

Let's see: the headlights are different; side-marker lights are different; the ECU is different; no immobolizer in the keys; no air-bag warnings on the visors. That's all that came to mind at the moment.

Actually, the current JDM S2000 have the 2.2L motor. The 2.0L motor is unique to Europe only. And there is no type R either. There is a type V which have the VGS.

The 'S2000 Type R' post was a joke and the 2.2L litre started this year for Japan so pretty much your post was useless since this was about MY04.

What about suspension?

Same spring rates? Same dampening rates? Same sway bars??
