Default JDM DC5 Recaro seats

CAn anybody tell me if the DC5 Recaros will fit in a S2000 and if possible can anyone find pics of those seats in a s2000.. the reason for asking is cause some people are telling me that the clearance from the door to the seat might not be enough., therefore im just double checking

Dan, unless I'm mistaken, there are a number of bottom mounted seats that fit the s2k. I don't know that the seats in question do or not, but there are others.

Can you explain your answer? I'm not flaming or anything here as I know you have a ton of experience with this car; I'm just trying to understand.

So your comments were specific to the seat in question by the original poster, not to all bottom mounted seats?

Yes sorry for the confusion, but in essence it depends on the rails, but I don't think there are many bottom mounted seats that will fit.

I think this topic should be considered more because nobody has direct proof that the seats won't fit, just assumptions.

If the S2000 seats bolt into DC2 Integras easily, then the DC2 Recaros (SR-II) will fit into the S2000 right? So similarly, the DC5 (SR-III) Recaros would be a possibility...

Just remember, the JDM Recaros are nice, but they're really heavy...

That's about the easiest way to make an assumption that's incorrect. A is smaller then B, so A can fit inside B, but does that mean B can fit inside A? Understand?

Just an "assumption" - but, RSX seats won't fit in the S2000 (we tried, just for fun)... so I'm assuming the DC5R seats wont since they're even "beefier" than the stock ones we get in the RSX.

Okay, thanks for the enlightenment fellas.

Well... nothing is wrong with the DC-2 SR-II Recaro's, maybe those can fit
