JR Filter Does Good!
I lent my JR Filter to SteveUCI at the dyno session today to compare results with a dirty stock filter. Results: he gained 6-8hp at the max reading, to put his S2000 essentially the same as mine for max hp.
Although torque of our S2000s was not measured, a comparison was done between our two best dyno runs, and the benefit of Mugen header and possibly the other mods became apparent, as the more heavily modded car spooled up much faster (or something like that; the dyno operator Jeff said the differences were significant).

FYI, I have posted some videos in a new section called Dyno-Day at ImportBuilders Fullerton 10.20.2001, which can be found at http://128.200.136.106/steveuci/videos.html
Enjoy!

mingster, anyone, can someone tell me what the big difference is between the JR and other filters? Is this a K&N-style cotton gauze filter? Is that the only major difference between it and stock/Spoon? Or is there some other design difference?
I seem to remember seeing J&R filter dyno results a long time ago...but its nice to reaffirm what I already thought I knew
Of course I've had mine in for more than a year and have just started to take the extra power for granted. My bad.
