Js2k LED light issues
Hi guys, I tried playing with the metal wires but no matter what, the lights didn't work. Its weird because I've had them for about 2-3 weeks with no problem. They just went out. Its not a socket issue I dont think, because the stock bulbs work fine. Joey, like I said, maybe I got a bad batch? Thanks for making it right.
In this case, it may be some defects from the manufacturer. What's important is that Joey treats his customers well and will get replacements to you if your lights fail.

Joey being the great guy he is, sent me replacement bulbs for the parking lights. But after 8 days, they went out again. I think it might be the wires being incapabitible with the LED bulbs? I just put my stock bulbs back on...ugly I know, but these LEDS keep going out. Thats the second pair in a month or so! Please tell me other folks have this issue with parking lights.
I'm just going to toss it out there that I find it really unlikely for both sets of LED bulbs to be damaged or bad when so many other users have them just fine. I'm going to wager the issue probably lies in your vehicle (voltage spikes, bad wiring, etc) You may want to see if those bulbs will work in another S2000 before blaming the LEDs.....
Sorry, I've just returned from a family emergency. Jason, I'll be responding to your emails tomorrow morning.
But I really don't think there should be any reason the LEDs should be going out like that. Especially so many in a row. I'll definitely get you taken care of.

OP, before a new set, clean out the contacts on your lights with some fine grit sandpaper. Then, make sure the contacts are still "springy" If the contacts are too loose or are slightly corroded, the resulting resistance could be killing the LEDs.
IMO, LEDs do have a less-hardy nature. EVERY LED light I've purchased, dive/mag/whatever has died before my xenon light. LEDs are supposed to have "longer life" but just like CFLs, I think the complexity of the product causes it to be less reliable.
BTW, JS2k, thats great customer service

i believe it's not only Js2K's LED bulbs. I used to have LED parking light and samething happened to me. kept going out. Now i'm back on normal light bulb.
it is not JS2K's fault at all. I think it must be the amount of current going into that socket that is causing the outage.

Can't blame Joey...he's a great guy with the best customer service. I had my license plate light go out too and got a replacement sent out the day I emailed him. Haven't had a problem ever since. It is something with the rear license plate light socket or wiring....if it goes out again, I will further investigate.
