Jumping From the S to the Other Car
When I get into my 2012 Explorer after a drive in the S2000 first thing I notice is how comfortable the Explorer is, and how torquey the engine is. But I do have to be careful in the corners for sure, the Explorer handles really well for a 4k pound SUV, but the S2K spoils you.
haha i just drove home on my lunchbreak (20 min drive from work) to exchange my s2k for my 2001 ram 1500 because I didn't notice it's supposed to snow tonight in my part of CT.
It's got a 3 inch lift with bigger wheels and snow tires and just like everyone else on here says my winter whip drives like a boat. I've gotten used to it though so I can drive it pretty quick but between that and my s2k my S handles like a F1 car when I go from the truck to it. It's also got the magnum v8 with a CAI so it sounds burly as hell.

I have a 06 Silverado extended cab 1/2 ton which I use for hauling hay (can't haul hay in the S2K), or whenever I feel like cruising and jamming, I have a nice system in it, or whenever it's raining or I don't feel like shifting I drive it. Sure it's slow and it's handling is non existing however whenever I go out of town I'm not wanting to drive the S2K on the freeway.
My Accord isn't too bad since it's also a Honda MT and somewhat sporty...the only thing that always gets me is that clutch takeup is completely different and the throws are like 3x longer. And I always feel like I'm driving a dump truck when I get out of the S and hop in the Accord
Way easier to go from the Accord to the S than vice versa.
My car choices are my CR Ram2500 diesel 6 speed that redlines at 3k, my '65 Mustang convertible or the school bus - GMC Yukon XL. They are all so different from the other, I have to adjust carefully every time I change cars.
I think everyone who has more than one car does the same thing more or less OP

Every once in a while my wife wants to drive the S so we swap cars for the day or week and I drive the RS
While its no F350 it does handle and accelerate quite differently from my S2000

Am I going to feel a better difference when and if I pickup my S2000?
I'm looking to have the S2000 as my daily driver but I currently have a 2005 GTO.
I had a Stage 3 S4 (387awhp) and a Single Turbo RX7 (405rwhp) as my car setup and the FD (on just shocks and springs) could definitely take turns way better than the S4 (on coilovers).
The 2005 GTO has just drop springs and no idea what the S2000 will have.
