Default Just bought a 03 S2000 over the internet

I just bought a brand new 03 Berlina Black on black S2000 over the internet last Friday. For those of you who are still hesitating about buying this car, here is my impression..... I paid 31,500 for the car and its worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY, if not more. I LOVE THIS CAR!!!!! And another thing, buying a new car over the internet with a dealer is 100X better than buying it the old fashion way. When I got to the dealer's lot, they had the car ready to go and I just had to fill out paperwork, as price was already negotiated (sp). Going to go check out some zaino polish supplies so I can make this baby shine!!!

Interesting to see others have gone a similar route to what I did.

I went through my credit union's auto broker, and they found the car I wanted in about 10 minutes, at a price lower than any quoted to me previously. It took another 5 minutes to get the credit approval from the credit union, and the deal was set and the delivery scheduled for the next day.

I never even had to set foot on the dealer's lot, nor did I ever have to speak to a car salesman.

I showed up, looked over the car and filled out the paperwork, all at the credit union.

It was the best car-buying experience I have ever had.

Can somebody tell me what kind of cars do those credit union's auto broker have? New ones or from those people who back out of their financing? If that is the case, is it safe?

It seems like this is the way to purchase cars now. There's no hagglin' involved and it a lot less stressful. You know what you get and how much you're paying, NO BS.

Brand spankin' new. Mine had 10 miles. I had the choice of picking it up at the dealer, or having it delivered to the credit union. Depending on the situation, it is delivered by the broker's drivers, or flatbed (I think). In my case it was driven over. I would have preferred doing it myself, but this was my first car with a manual and it was safer this way.
