Sounds like everyone is happy. I will probably leave mine on most of the time. I thought about tinting my windows with it, but then no one could see the stud with the hardtop inside

Crockey...... for pulling the trigger and buying one...

I've been considering it for awhile too but I just wouldn't use it here in sunny San Diego....

I guess I have to wait for a "baller" badge....

I think we need to have a badge for people who run their hardtop 365 days a year.

That's what lots of hair gel is for anyway.

I admit I've had my hardtop off twice this year. Once was a really warm evening (only time's I really enjoy top-down anymore), and the second time was because I wanted more access to my interior (had my seats out and most of the interior ripped apart.. way easier without a roof on the car!)

Mine is on from Oct to April, then a few times during the summer to give it that 2nd look. I'd buy it all over again.

I love my hardtop. The music sounds better, the road isn't as loud and, when I tinted my windows, it was like I was in my own little world where nobody could see in. Definitely a good choice

Hello, everyone.

This is my first post even though I've had my '04 S2K since December of '03. A lot of good information on this site.

Crockey, I'm in the same neck of the woods as you are. I live up in Westfield, IN. If I drove my S2K more often, I'd definitely get the hardtop as you did; especially in the winter time. I don't know if I'd have the top if I lived on the Pacific Coast though. I'd never put the top up driving on Interstate 5. I believe that is it. One of the nicest drives in the country going into San Francisco.

The top does give the S2K a different kind of look. It's a very clean look, nice fit and seems natural with the car. I have a New Formula Red, so I don't know if the red top would look that good anyway, perhaps black. As for the Silver, Yellow, White and Black ones I've seen here, they look really nice.

The only add-on I did on my S2K is tinted the side windows. For some reason, I just didn't feel the S2K required anything more.
