hey did u get the car yet? i'm looking at buying a S2K off the net myself and having it shipped cuz apparently there are no used S2K's in NYC..i'm just worried about it getting damaged along the way or getting stuck with a lemon..thanx..

 

i was in the same situation. everything here was either and 03, which i couldnt afford and they didn't have the color/int i wanted.

so i just searched autotrader.com and did a search for only certified cars. and then i went from there. got really lucky and found the one i really wanted for the price i was going to spend on the miles etc.....

it was also nice that the dealer/salesman at the honda i bought my car from were really cool. did all the dealing over the phone. then i just went to my bank, got the loan and they did the paper work through faxes. salesman then overnighted all the paper work i needed to sign and the car was on the truck and on its way to me.

that's how my story went and i'm sure there are some horror stories out there but i'm one of the lucky few. but i am still waiting on the car. should be here TODAY or tomorrow at the latest.

just got the car this morning and it was DIRTY! only b/c it's been on a truck for 2 days, through snow and rain. but i had some time to show her some TLC before i went into work. should have called in off the rest of the day to just go joy riding!

but starting her up was a dream. rides perfect!

i almost don't want to drop the car! but i think i'm doing that tonight. got the springs waiting at the shop for me to drop her later tonight.
