Default Yearly production by color.

Does anybody have data regarding how many cars were produced each year by color ? My main curiosity is the fact that I see so few White S2K's in Florida. Are they produced in small numbers ? Are they shipped up North ? Do people not like white ?

I love white, which is why I bought that color. It just seems weird to me how few white's around especially considering white is popular in Florida for other cars.

If white was still available with red interior I bet you would see more of them.

I had snagged the below statistics which were posted by another member some time ago regarding MY2002 colors. I believe the posting member was involved in dealer sales.

Regarding exterior color only, this was the breakdown late as of August 2002.

35% Silverstone Metallic
18% Black
13% NF Red
10% Sebring Silver
10% Spa Yellow
08% Suzuka Blue
06% GP White

My numbers did not relate to any specific model year; only to registered owners who identified their colors. But it's a huge sampling and there highly accurate.
