Just got a new s2000!
Well i finally found a decent deal. It's a 2000 silverstone metallic with red interior. Only has 15k miles on it, and im buying it for $19,000. Pics coming soon.
First thing I want to do is throw on an intake. I'm thinking either comptech or aem...anyone have any suggestions?
Secondly, the rear plastic window is a little bit dirty, what is the most effective way of cleaning it.
Also, I want to clear out the headlights. How do I go about doing this?
The first time i test drove one i was really impressed, im gonna have a hard time not getting any speeding tickets!

There are MULTIPLE and EXTENSIVE threads on each and every one of these questions somewhere on this site, I have seen at least 5 threads on each topic you raised so do yourself a favor do a little footwork before you get flamed as a lazy newbie. most people here are extremely nice and helpful, but some are not. The search function works under each subtopic section.
And BTW... CONGRATS!! you'll love the car, I'm on my 2nd one.

There are several topics covering this right now..But I will take the time out to make aa few sudgestions for you....I have an MY02 and the glass rear window..So I cant help you there...You'll love an aem or comptec intake, both emit a nice growl that bellows under the hood, and makes it that much harder to drive within the posted limits...Congrats on the New S2k..I'm sure it will become as much a part of you as it has everyone else on this board.

First off, check out the FAQs stickied at the top of some of the critical forums (UTH, S2000 Talk). Lots of good stuff there.
Intake: AEM best sound and best gains for the buck but involves cutting plastic bits and filter access for cleaning is cumersome. Comptech is nice but fitment has its quirks. Also check out the K&N FIPK.

My advice is to be careful when you drive around smiling because you are so happy with your car. You WILL look like a mental patient. I know from experience.
Other than that, search this site, you will be amazed at how much you will learn and how helpfull people are. Other than that, change your fluids and enjoy.

As others have mentioned watch out for damage to that plastic rear window. Here's an accessory specifically for protecting your plastic window from further damage.
