It sounds like you did well, selling the older S2000 into a stronger market, buying the '03 in a weaker one.

I love my '01 BUT I'd love to have the:
glass rear window,
improved engine oiling,
upgraded suspension (safer?)
stock door place for tweeter.

Including replacing the hardtop, my dealer wants $8000 to put me in the new '02 spa yellow sitting that has been sitting in his showroom for two months. I'm not even sure whether it has the new banjo oil bolts.

Welcome back, Justin.

My favorite colors are Silverstone/black; yellow/black; red/black, Monza red/black and Imola orange/black. Ooops. the last two are striclty JDM market.

Justin & Michelle
i got couple questions wanna ask u ..

is that possible i still can get the new 02 or 03 white with red interior? i heard that 03 white with tan only, so is that possible to change the red interior for 03?

currently i want to get the new 02 or 03 but i am still worrying about the price. u got the 03 $30600 + usual fees, it's very good price. i am located in Los angeles, do u think i would be able to get the price lower than that or should i match ur price if i am buying from Los angeles local dealer?

thanks
bryant

Bryant,
Check with your dealer or Honda for the available colors...I think you can get the white with only the tan interior for '03.

You probably won't be able to do much better than retail for an S2000. This is our second S2000 from this dealer and we asked to withdrawl our deposit when the sales manager panicked and gave us $2000 off. (we put our deposit down on a Sebring silver car, but the car was silverstone). In other words, the dealer made a mistake with a return customer who had waited over a month for a car, and would have lost this deal if they hadn't dropped the price. Don't expect much lower than retail. Granted the market is good, but the S2000 is still a high demand/low supply car.

The dealership was Honda Cars of Rock Hill (SC)

Airgate,
We be on the lookout for you at the NC meets! See you around!

Justin and Michelle
