Didn't I read that the S2000 has reinforced cylinders? Does the Accord also have reinforced cylinders? If not, then it doesn't share the engine block.

That's the Prelude motor. I have one in my Civic - H22A4 that is.

Thanks for the pointer, s2k4ever...

What is inter-tech energy progress? Is this some non-profit? Just curious.

Hey, I doubt anyone's digested all that info, but I definitely learned a few things with a cursory glance.

Didn't know we had aluminum pistons in the engine.

The emissions targets for our engine were lower (significantly, I'd say) than the Accord (F20B) engine. WOW!

The more I learn, the more impressed I am. What an amazing engine.

In the software biz, I often laugh at the refinement process -- what we used to call "continuous improvement." However, no question the Honda guys basically refined every engine process they could get their CADs on to create this beauty.

Again, tnx for the pointer.

Hey I must have my wires crossed here. I thought the S2000 was built in the same plant with the NSX? Maybe I was just dreaming.
