Just an interesting story to share with you all...
Last Sunday here in Baltimore, I was trying to piece my car together in order to get to my girlfriend's house in time. It is about a 20 minute ride to her house and it was still nice out so I kept the top down... So here I go, and I pickup the beltway when it begins to pour down.... So, thinking back to the many posts I read here in the past year, I remembered about the "phenomena" of driving an S in the rain. So for 20 minutes, I'm doing 80 mph, passing people left and right, not getting a single drop on my head. It was hilarious getting all the looks from passing and oncoming traffic... obviously, they thought I was q crazy man with a bathtub for an interior. The crazy part might be right. Of course I did have to stop eventually and anything below 45 mph and you feel the rain, so I did end up getting wet. It was all part of the fun, though...
Thanks for the previous posts on this... I would have missed a good opportunity to be viewed as "the freak driving a convertible in a downpour" for at least one day...
