Default Just look what I got for present!

A friend of mine sold his S2000 and got himself a VW Touareg. Decided it was time to settle down. Still though, when he sees my S2000 he is banging his head for this desicion.

So guess what; he had this BMC/CDA forgotten in his garage and decided to hand it over to me so I could give it a try.

Since I didnt know about this specific product I decided to have a look at their site so here are the links.

http://www.bmcairfilters.com/VisModel.asp

http://www.bmcairfilters.com/infoCDA.asp

javascript:apri('VisDetail.asp?ID=211');

And there is a dyno test. Look at the picture. It looks like a bazooka!

http://www.bmcairfilters.com/VisDyno.asp

javascript:apriDyno('VisDetailDyno.asp?ID=4');

Has anyone else tried this product on their S2000 and give me some feedback?

I finally did the installation by myself on New Years Eve. The results are quite impressive and I have a feeling that there is more gain in power and torque that the BMC's dyno chart claims. I never thought it would made such a big difference!

Plus the sound is incredible!

You should put a single outlet exhaust on your S. Combined with your intake, you should get an impressive gain

He means instead of the dual exhaust that is stock on our cars. A single pipe exhaust is suppose to yield the highest gains- if you like the way they look.

old news... This intake has been discussed before and its more hype than performance. It looks good though....not worth the money, but looks good.

Maybe it's been discussed, but its a stretch to say its all hype until someone posts dyno results. My money says its as good as any of the other ones out there, most of which aren't much better than some of the modified stock ones I've seen on the forum.
