Is it just me...
1. Do others enjoy leaning their elbows on your fenders and trunk during brief chats with you next to your S? Do they not know it is NOT made out of the same metal that went into the Plymouth Fury of the 70s? Human elbows cause.....ELBOW DINGS!!!
2. Do others run their index finger on your paint to prove to you that: "Hey bud, you need to wash your S?" Of all people, the owners (you and I) are well aware of the S needing a wash. Running fingers over paint with "abrasive" dirt causes um...scratches that just don't go away.
3. Do your passengers run the bottom of their shoes over the door sill when getting into your S? I understand that the S is difficult to crawl into but is it that hard to lift your legs up an inch in order to not scrape the emblem and sill that I try to keep scratch-free?
4. Do your passengers scrape their long fingernails on the underside of the door handle not knowing that 1) the handles are body colored 2) made of paint that will in fact scratch and 3) irritate the ___ out of us S owners.
5. Is it that difficult for passengers to keep their feet on the floor mat? I understand the car is tight and all but do they really know what floor mats are intended for - this is not rocket science.
Icing on the cake: These are my family and friends that I am speaking about. Imagine what strangers do to our Esses when we are not watching.
Is it just me that's INSANE or are there others out there with the same pet peeves? If there are others, please feel free to add to my list. I may have forgotten a FEW HUNDRED!!!
Apologize if this is a re-post but just need to vent a little....

I have the same pet peeves and concerns as you do. My friends know the rules though!
I do good to calm myself when I remind myself that there is nothing on any car that cant either be repaired or replaced with a superior part. Keeps the blood pressure down

Everytime we're at like a house party/gathering/etc... I would chat outside with my friends and they would lean their body against my quarter panel. I would tell them to get off and they would get off temporarily and lean on it again. They would fuss that nothing will happen but I would tell them that it is fragil and you can't lean on it or it will cause a dent!

I definitely agree with #3, especially girls wearing heels getting into the car i just CRINGE when i hear their shoes scrape up against the door sill!!
Another pet peeve of mine I don't know what it is but EVERY passenger in my car seems to ALWAYS play with the passenger side heater vent on the dash, for some reason they find enjoyment flipping the little plastic vents up and down and due to this my passenger side vents are now broken! Anybody else have problems with people doing this??
Really drives me nuts I dunno why people can't just sit still they always have to be fiddling with something in the car!
