Is it just me...
I can't figure out how someone can rest they're elbows on a fender unless they're kneeling on the ground. The cars so low you'd have to bend over pretty uncomfortably in order to rest an elbow on a fender. At least I'd have too.
I have to remind and sometimes re-teach everyone not to slam the doors. If anyone runs their fingers on my car to show me how dirty it is, 1 of 2 things will happen:
1. They are washing my car minutes later while I watch them sitting in the lawn chair and having a beer.
2. They will have a cast on that finger along with the pain of a broken finger that goes along with it for the next 2-3 months.
But on a serious note...
The people that have no respect for a nicer car because they usually don't own a nice car themselves so they don't experience trying to take care of it first hand or they are just plain 'ole disrespectful douches(even if they are family).

I used to be as anal as the OP about my cars but have since lightened up and life is much better this way.
The only peeves I still have about my S2000 is passengers who do one of the following:
1. Puts her feet on the dash...even without shoes on it leaves smudges that I then have to clean off
2. slam the door! I tell all passengers as they get out "THE DOOR IS LIGHT, IT DOESN'T NEED SWUNG SHUT!"
3. Passengers who do chin ups on the door to help themselves get out of the car...that's how hinges sag and stop lining up.
Fortunately my family and friends know I don't want them leaning on or touching my car so that's a non-issue for people I know.

I don't like people touching my car in general.
My friends know better than to lean on my car. One friend did it once (in ####ing jeans at that) and I told him if I caught him leaning on my car again I would kick him in the nuts.
Why do girls like to put their feet on the dash. This shit drives me crazy. Not only is it dangerous (there is a damn airbag there afterall, if I wreck, or get hit, their knees are going to be driven straight into their face) but it shows no respect for the belongings of others. I don't come to your house and put my feet on your bed or your dining room table, why do you do it to the dash of my car?
No one has ever run their finger through the dirt on my car (it's usually clean anyway) but that would warrant a good solid smack upside the head (black paint scratches easily and obviously).
My friends are mostly car guys too, so I don't have a lot of trouble with the blatantly stupid things friends tend to do.
